Jane’s List

Solution to the Abortion Stigma experienced by abortion healthcare providers

About

DESCRIBPTION:

Jane’s List is a platform that enables abortion clinics to find vetted, pro-choice local vendors. Clinic managers tell us it would save them tremendous time and effort, to negotiate better prices, and ultimately allow clinics to evolve and best serve patients, especially as policy puts the location of clinics in continued flux.

Background

To combat abortion stigma, the root causes do need to be addressed.

However, our group has focused our research on the next level up:

On how stigma affects the day-to-day experience of healthcare providers. And the existing systems providers have for support. We specifically chose this group because we learned that they are understudied. Yet they’re vital to reproductive care and rights in America

How might we alleviate the burdens on abortion healthcare providers created by stigma and thereby improve access to abortion healthcare?
